Stop Trying to Become a Salad Person

You know the type - they happily order the small house salad, feign excitement for kale and carrot juice and run from sugar like it's chasing them with a butcher knife...
Sisters I know it's tempting after watching these types to:
1: Throw away everything delicious
2: Eat dry salad with a squeeze of lemon
3: Suffer
4: Become healthy
But since suffering isn't sustainable this is why most people quit, because honestly, nobody wants to spend the rest of their life eating food that feels like punishment
The "healthy" eating myth
Somewhere along the way, we got this strange idea that healthy eating means removing everything that we like
No sugar
No bread
No snacks
No desserts
No fun
Then we replace it all with a giant bowl of lettuce and hope for the best - eating heartbreak
Sadly, most people start their healthy eating journey by taking away the good stuff
I think that's ass backward
What about starting with nutrients instead?
Before we start eliminating foods, what if we focused on adding more nutrients?
More berries, vegetables, beans, seeds, food with color...
Foods that actually help our bodies do their jobs
Not because they're perfect
Not because they're trendy
Because they're useful
The funny thing is that when you start consistently adding nutrient-dense foods, something interesting happens, you naturally begin eating less of some of the "other" stuff
not because you're forcing yourself but because you're less hungry - plain and simple
No suffering just a bit of rearranging - superfoods first, everything else after -
You just may be surprised to see how sustainable this is
